Following country lanes and footpaths, going through woodlands before picking up the Herefordshire Trail to the ruined castle of Richards Castle for a packed lunch. Return through fields to Orleton Church with connections to Roger Mortimer of Wigmore.
Tea/Coffee and cake has been arranged at the end, included in the price.

Catch the 44 bus to Hoarwithy and follow one of the most scenic sections of the Herefordshire Trail. Taking in Hoarwithy, Kings Caple and Sellack Churches, over the Sellack Suspension Footbridge, crossing the River Wye, continue through Ross On Wye Cider orchards and Bridstow before arriving back into Ross.

Traverse the narrow Cat’s Back ridge before walking over moorland to Hay Bluff and wonderful views of Mid Wales. Descend to the Gospel Pass before climbing Lord Hereford’s Knob. Descend to the beautiful Capel Y ffin before a steep ascent of the Hatterall ridge to the lovely Olchon Valley.
