Your First Time at the Equestrian Store as an Owner
Once you’ve found your perfect teammate, you’re finally going to buy
everything you ever dreamed of buying to your own horse. Keep in mind that
not everything you buy has to be new. In the equestrian world, thousands of
people are always selling stuff they don’t longer use, so always ask other eques-
trians if they have something that may work for you, so you can buy good-
quality things that are cheaper. My first saddle wasn’t new because when my
dad bought my first horse, he didn’t realize that he had to buy everything my
new horse needed. He told me that I had to choose a saddle that wasn’t too ex-
pensive. Always try to buy a high-quality equipment. You will use most things
every day, so the idea is that they last a long time. It’s better to buy something
expensive once, and not something cheap three times.
MAGNUS TALKS
Having the most expensive saddle, the best stirrups, or
the prettiest bridle doesn’t mean you are the best rider.
A good rider works hard to improve every day, he cares
about his horse, and when he falls off, he gets back on
his horse. Never believe that because your equipment is
expensive, you are better than the others.
