Summary

- Farm 5 was always a hot spot for criminals and for standalone guards. The rear security
lightings are not working. Darkness can therefore cause guards to desert guard post making
the location venerable to perpetrators.
- I have heard stories of other PCS night shift guards also about their strange
experience/encounter of that particular farm 5. It’s was a traditional war zone for locals and
Japanese barrel ground at war with its allies.
“But I have not proven their stories and have an encounter yet!”

- Dickson Wekuma told me in his interview that he face similar encounter with the outside
world the night before the BES, therefore, I believe that it’s his imagination and fear of that
location that driven him to vacated his guard post so he went to his wantoks at farm 3 for
company. However, he will face the consequences of his actions.

- His site supervisor went and did spot checked at farm 5 and after being told to go inspect
the incident. He said he did investigate but failed to bring him back or replaces him with
another guard. Total neglecting by ground site supervisor

- Nadzab farm are now surrounded by settlers therefore the ratio of one guard should be a
great concern and be concerned in teams of farm production.

- The wash down team was also not irresponsible for their company’s wheelbarrows and felt
it was security’s duty and responsibility to stored away.

- Nadzab farm is very large in size and each shed could stand 100 meters apart each
other. Example: If a guard stand a shed 51 therefore someone at the other end of
shed 55, he should stand approximate 500 metres away from his friend at shed 51
and is very dark at night from that distance from the rear.

- We are still gathering information and will make arrest when all findings and facts
have collected as court verdict.
