ADJUTANT GENERAL’S CORPS
25th ANNIVERSARY
The course consisted of a warm-up session, under the supervision of
the Physical Training staff, followed by a cross-country run. After the
run the obstacles ranged from carrying a heavy dummy, jerricans and
tyres, scrambling under nets, tackling an inflatable assault course and
various other challenges. Submerging in the water obstacle was not
very popular, especially as it was a cold March day. At the end of the
course each competitor was awarded a medallion, woollen hat and
water bottle. There were no prizes for the fastest time, but this did not
deter the more competitive participants. A fitting event to kick-start the
25th Anniversary celebrations, and those that took part could say “I
broke out of the MCTC.”.
