The Concept
With over nine months to organise
the event, no problem as we have the
weather and time on our side. With
Christmas over and the end of January
approaching, funding was approved
and the planning commenced, along
with my two trusted assistants, Staff
Sergeant Teresa Green and Staff
Sergeant Mickey Watson. We decided
that the event would be held at Royal
Air Force Akrotiri on Saturday 8 April
2017 after the Cyprus Triple Crown
Challenge, being held on the Thursday
before. The event would be a fun day
allowing all personnel from across all
three services to enjoy the day.
