Planning Phase

We wanted live music, fanfares,
fairground rides, displays and the final
decision was to have a family’s fun
day, followed by an evening of live
entertainment and Disco (festival style).

Build-up Week

The week was soon upon us and saw
the arrival of our guests; Colonel
Frances Castle, Lieutenant Colonel
(Retired) Ian Pendlebery and Major
(Retired) Joe Bright MBE. We were also
very fortunate to have the Band of the
Adjutant General’s Corps who as always
were warmly welcomed.
