Dedicated to the love of my life; my soul mate; my life partner. The father of our 2 sons and the
grandfather of 3—only one of whom he got to know in his lifetime. He was my one and only husband
of 40 years. He was my beloved; my David!
David took my side and stood up for me whenever anyone dissed my ideas as pipedreams. He listened
intently as I described my next big idea, made suggestions, and actually helped me decide what I needed

“He believed in me, therefore I believe in me.” This is printed on a small plaque that I purchased shortly
after he died. It sums up the story of our lives together. When my ideas or creations would falter, he
supported and comforted me; if they did well, he proudly bragged about me to everyone he could
tell—which I only learned about after he was gone.

We were in sync so often, constantly finishing each other’s sentences. We did everything together. We
seemed to think alike. We were best friends. We shared dreams of growing old together, dreams that
were cut short when he was only 61—so young! “David, you were my whole life! You have been ripped
from my heart, but I will love you forever and ever!”
