THE WAY FORWARD
1. THE ICC SHOULD ESTABLISH AN OFFICE IN
EACH MEMBER STATE
More often than not, the ICC has lacked the ability
to freely gather evidence to use in proceedings , lack of
evidence is largely due to the absence of a long-term
presence in the country under investigation,
establishment of permanent offices will enable the ICC
to gather evidence, it is also important to staff these
offices with natives so as to ease the process of
investigation.
