            1. How do you think what the word Culture mean?

(This word means set of traditions, customs, social norms, rules that regulate the behavior of those who live
now, and transmitted to those who will live tomorrow.)
We can say that our city is a cultural city. Why?

We have our own customs and traditions as well as theatres and museams where we can enrich our inner
        world and our cultural development.

            2. Today we are going to speak about cultural life of Great Britan. We’ll speak about Great Brinain’s
               capital. Let’s start from London’s well-known museums.

We’ve already spoken about the British Museum. We know that it is devided into several wings which
               represent the certain direction.

One of the wings represent the painyings of English artists. What English painters do you know?

                                                   The British Museum
The main historical and archaeological museum of Great Britain and
one of the largest museums in the world, created in 1753. Initially, the
museum's collection of antiquities was collections from Ancient Egypt,
Ancient Greece and Assyria, and the collection is constantly updated
with new exhibits. It also hosts various exhibitions. The basis of the
British Library, which is part of the British Museum, made three
collections: the collection of the famous British physician and naturalist
Hanes Sloan, the collection of Count Robert Harley, as well as
antiquarian Robert Cotton library. The library has more than 7 million
