THAILAND Downtown Providing Fascinating Travel Experiences
 Day 1 – Tue: Bangkok
Upon arrival you’ll be welcomed by our representative and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 2 – Wed: Bangkok, Ayuthaya, Lopburi, Pitsanuloke
After breakfast you’ll meet the guide who will accompany you on your tour. Depart from Bangkok for Bang Pa In to visit the Summer Palace of King Rama V. Afterwards, take a local motorboat for a scenic boat trip to Ayuthaya. Disembark at local pier and visit Wat Pranangcherng and the three ancient pagodas at Wat Phra Sri Sanpetch. Have lunch at a local river- side restaurant and, after lunch, continue to Phitsanuloke. En route, visit the ancient Khmer temple of Phra Prang Sam Yot. Upon arrival in
Pitsanuloke, visit Sgt. Maj. Thavee Folk Museum. Check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight. [B/L/D]
Day 3 – Thu: Pitsanuloke, Sukhothai, Sri Satchanalai, Lampang
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and be ready to start your visit of Wat Pra Sri Rattana Maha Dhat with its revered Buddha statue, Phra Buddha Jinaraj. Continue the to Sukhothai and visit Wat Sri Chum or the Temple of the Bodhi Tree, located north of the old city walls and maybe the most enig- matic of Sukhothai's temples.
Continue to Sri Satchanalai Historical Park, the northern outpost town of the Kingdom of Sukhothai, and Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha Dhat standing on the site of the Khmer fort "Chalieng”. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and, in the afternoon, proceed to Lampang. Upon arrival, enjoy a ride on horse drawn carriage around the old streets of Lampang. Before check-in at the hotel, stop for a walking tour to visit some of the most remarkable colonial styled houses in Talad Gao Street. Check in at the hotel for dinner and accommodation. [B/L/D]
Day 4 – Fri: Lampang, Phayao, Chiang Rai
Start a wonderful day making merit with the monks at a temple nearby. Thai Buddhists believe that by making
merit, they earn happiness, peace in life and the chance to progress in their next life, while this sacred experience creates a harmonious way to start the day for all. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Check out and depart for Chiang Rai to visit a pineapple planta- tion. Continue your drive northwards, stopping briefly at Phayao Lake for a coffee break. Then, proceed to Chiang Rai with a stop en route for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue your drive to Chiang Saen, former capital of the first Thai kingdom, situated directly on the Mekong River at the border between Thailand and Laos. Take a boat trip upriver on the Mekong to the Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet. Afterwards, drive to Mae Sai, the northernmost Thai town on the border with Myanmar. Stroll through the shops at the local market
