   A.                                                           Pass  the working end down
                                                             2  behind  the loop  that has
                                                             j ust been  formed  to  make a

          I  make an  overhand loop so
          that the working end lies  on
          top of the standing part.














             Pick up  the other end  of
          3 the cord  and tuck it  under,
          over, under, over. Keep a tight
          hold  at this stage, as  the knot
          will  fall  apart if you let go.
