         crossing turns, with  each  turn
         overlapping the previous one.

                       Further overlap  the left-
                    2  and  right-hand loops - the
                    right  over the left - inside  the
                    middle loop.









                                                                Locate  the two strands  of
                                                             3  the  middle loop and take
                                                             the  left-hand strand of the
                                                             middle loop to  the left, going
                                                             under,  then  over, the t\vo
                                                             adjacent strands, to  make  a
                                                             long, left-hand loop.
