Chapter 1

Two friends sat down, casually exchanging lines. “Hey, thanks for havin’ me over, I

seriously would not know what to do without you here!” Her friend laughed, “Kaylan, you know

I like h-having you over.” “Lee, y’know you don’t gotta call me by my last name, we’re friends

y’know, no need to keep formal.” Lee shifted, getting up. “Well, it’s family rule, but anyways,

it’s always a pleasure to have you over here.” Isyr started to put her shirt on, “Huh? A pleasure?

You like me or somethin’?” Isyr chuckled, “Not in a mean way though, don’t take that harshly.”

Isyr, with her shirt on, stretched, “Do your parents ever talk to you about havin’ me over, like, do

they think it’s weird you got a girl coming over, like, every week or so?” Lee went to look

outside the window, and squinted. “H-Hey, not wanting to alarm you or anything, but can you

come and look over here?” “Yeah sure, gimme a quick second.”

Isyr walked up to the window, leaning on it, but still looking at Lee. “So what’s the

issue?” “Well, probably just me but I saw two people outside the window, just staring, should I

c-call the cops?” “Nah, nah, cool it, cool it. Besides, there’s only one.” Lee furrowed his

eyebrows in confusion, “B-But I saw two?” “Well I only see one… What even the hell is that?”

Isyr leaned closer out the window. “A child.” “Oh.” Isyr looked back at Lee, “Were you just

lying that there were two? That’s something dumb to lie about.” N-No I promise! Th-There were

two a-and-” Before he could finish his sentence, an unrecognizable figure covers the both of

them, wrapping them in a lag, and kidnapping them.

Isyr lies on the floor, struggling to regain unconsciousness. “Hey, hey. You up?” yet no

response, “Hello?” Isyr groaned, actually regaining consciousness this time. Rubbing her eyes,

she felt light headed and weak, she was confused, but also a little bit scared. She had gone from
