This time, with the manager. The club’s media team like to get a shot of the signing with the manager, it’s Eddie who wants him to be a part of the squad after all!
The player will often then walk back around to the stadium for more photos on their own, or stick around the training pavillion to do them on the nice backdrops!
They’ve signed the contract, so you all want to hear why they’ve joined, right!? The media team will have a camera set up, usually in the press conference room at the stadium, and the player will get mic’ed up and asked a few questions.
There’s a lot to say, and with Diego and Je erson, an interpreter was on hand to ensure the correct questions were put to the pair. Depending on what stage of the season it is, the new signing may then be asked to go to a green screen, and  lm some celebrations for their goal GIFs, or for part of a reveal video!

We’ve made it seven simple steps, but it’s a long day for a new player when they  rst join the club. There’s a lot of media and introductions to be made, but as one big family it’s a great start for them.
