Marc Pugh Scoring a goal against Bolton to help secure promotion...
What a night that was against Bolton. We knew we had a good chance of securing promotion and we knew what we had to do under the lights at Vitality Stadium.
I remember the goal as I cut inside and hit it with my left-foot, I did the knee slide in all the emotion and it’s a goal that will stick with me for the rest of my life for sure.
Dan gosling Scoring a last minute winner in the Merseyside derby...
I had some great moments in the FA Cup – it was a fourth round replay and in the last minute of extra time, so I don’t think you could write a better script than that.
I didn’t really know the magnitude of it at the time, until a couple of the lads said I’d go down in the history of the club and still to this day, I get Scousers that come up to me and thank me for that goal.
It’s a great memory and probably one of the best I’ve had in my career.
What a great day that was – I scored against Lithuania in my rst England game since and it was an unbelievable feeling.
I also got to walk out that day with Bradley and I’m blessed to be in a position where I can make someone feel that way.
People say football’s just a game. I’ve been lucky enough to have this gift and doing something I love, and touching so many lives, little kids that are ill.
To walk out with Bradley was an honour that day.
