ASSESSMENT Saxon Phonics and Spelling 2 16
Section IV
Some fish in the sea go fishing, too. The frogfish has a thin rod that sticks out of its mouth. On the end of the rod is a thin bit of white skin. It looks just like a worm. The frogfish hides in seaweed and waves this “worm.” Little fish see it and think they have found dinner, but as soon as they try to take a bite, the frogfish’s mouth sucks the little fish in. The frogfish gets dinner!
