make every serious student o f Scripture take notice.
Despite the claim o f some that the mark o f the beast is already

here through barcodes or other such devices, the fact is that all o f
these scientific leaps are mere precursors to technology that the
Antichrist will employ in his quest for world domination. It hasn’t
happened yet, but we can see, as it were, prototypes o f Tribulation-
era weapons to be used against the global population.

The year 2002 was replete with announcements from corpora­
tions trumpeting technology that would, on its face, make living and
shopping more safe and convenient. However, behind the mask o f
convenience are signs that these new developments will be turned
against citizens during the Tribulation, forcing them to swear
allegiance to the Antichrist, or be killed.

Making payments by loyalty cards, digitally-read fingerprints,
and even chips implanted underneath the skin are just one area o f
technology that signals what is to come. One company, Applied
Digital Research, has boasted that it can implant a tiny chip under the
skin that can track a person’s vital statistics, store financial records
and even monitor his movements through global positioning satel­
lite! If ever the Antichrist required a device to track his subjects, this
prototype is just what he will need. Current calls by governments and
governmental agencies for identification numbers for every citizen
o f the world prepares the world for an easy transition to forfeiting
their rights.. .and their souls.. .to world leaders.

PUTTING IN THE MISSING PIECES

Jesus warned believers not to set dates or speculate as to the exact
timing o f His return. Date-setting leads otherwise competent Bible
teachers into embarrassment and misleads untold numbers o f sincere
followers into disillusionment. I don’t set dates. But, as I stated at the
outset, never have I seen the world so ripe for His coming than now.

Not all o f the pieces are in place. God is withholding some until
the time He chooses, but we can see without doubt that relatively few
pieces are missing.
