destruction o f the Jewish people, God will not allow it. ‘“ For I know
the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare
and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope’” (Jer. 29:11).

Prophetically-speaking, Israel sits at the center o f the End Times
puzzle, not because o f homicide bombers, but because God wants the
entire world to know, as in the days o f Moses and Pharaoh, that there
is a God in heaven. And one day soon we shall say as Moses did, “Do
not fear! Stand by and see the salvation o f the LORD which He will
accomplish for you today.”

A s these last days wind down and we see God at work to usher in
the millennial kingdom, the Church must now more than ever make
one last push to win others for Christ, beginning with “the Jew first.”
Evangelism among Jews is increasing today, and who knows how
many o f the 144,000 Tribulation evangelists you and I can influence
by our faithful witness to them today? Millions could be won to
Christ as a result. Now is the time to get busy in the work o f the Lord.

Begin praying how you can be a witness in your own sphere o f
influence. Jesus commanded us to take the good news o f the Gospel
to every nation (every unique ethnic group), for in heaven all will be
represented. Gather helpful resources that instruct on witnessing to
both Jews and Gentiles. Then ask God for opportunities to present the
salvation o f Christ to those around you with clarity, patience and love.

Remember that you are an “ambassador for Christ” and thereby
represent Him to the world. Does the world know this? Do your
neighbors know? When you see Christ profaned in the biased media,
how do you respond? When our leaders make foolish decisions that
put our nation at risk, do they hear your voice? Let them know. Seize
these situations to write letters to the editor o f your local newspaper
or to the television networks or to our president.

And finally, remember that the strife o f this world will one day
end. Threats o f nuclear war and terrorism will be silenced. Acts o f
hatred will cease. The Lord is near, and He will make all things right
in His own time. He will Himself place the last piece o f the prophetic
puzzle that will inaugurate a thousand years o f peace and righteous­
ness. Then He will wipe away the old earth and heavens and create it
all over again — a new heaven, a new earth.. .and a new Jerusalem
forever!
