is called the triple arch tower. This is significant, because it was
long thought that the Romans invented the arch, and they
certainly utilized it throughout the world. But this discovery
proves that the arch w as used by the Israelites as early as
850 B.C.

                     Impact on Archaeological World

     The discovery of the "House of David" stone is bound to
have a significant impact on the archaeological assessment of the
Israelite occupation of Canaan. It would seem that it is no longer
tenable to deny the existence of the Davidic Dynasty from the
time of David to the Babylonian Captivity. The scholars will
have to readjust their understanding of the period to conform
much more closely to the Biblical record than they have done in
the past. It will be interesting to see how this is carried out.

                    III.
 Revival of the Israeli Church

      While much of our attention, and that of the world, has
focused on the spectacular rebirth of the State of Israel, and its
implications both geopolitically and biblically, another reappear­
ance has quietly gone on which has been practically unnoticed by
anyone. That is the rebirth of the Israeli Church, the Mother
Church of all Christendom.

              ISRAELI CHURCH HAS NOT EXISTED
                           FOR 19 CENTURIES

     The Israeli Church, to a large extent, disappeared along with
the Temple in A.D. 70. There was certainly a body of believers
in the Holy Land all during the Roman, Byzantine and Crusader
periods, and, to a lesser extent, throughout the Moslem domina­
tion. But, for the most part, these were Gentile Christians from
Europe and some local Arab Christians who had settled in the
