 1968
As highlighted in the last Alumnews magazine, MATTHEW WILLIAMS ’20 was named the first recipient of the Greg Gannon ’68 (d.) service award. On December 8, 2019
Fr. Van Dyke hosted a brunch for Greg’s classmates who established the award in Greg’s memory to meet Mathew and his family. In the picture are Matthew with members of his family, RICK GANNON ’74, BRIAN CONNOLLY, PHILIP O’DONOGHUE, FRANK SPELLMAN, and KEVIN NEALON.

Retired after 24 years serving in the U.S. House of Representatives for New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional district, FRANK LOBIONDO is the founder and CEO of “LoBo Strategies LLC,” an independent consulting firm providing solutions-driven strategic advice in government and legislative affairs as well as public relations to its clients.
1967
JIM JULIANA published his second book, “A Secret Life: Enduring and Triumphing Over OCD: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder,” in 2019. The book is available for purchase on Amazon and Smashwords.com.
1974
CHARLIE SPALDING recently retired as an Administrative Law Judge with the Georgia State Board of Workers Compensation.
1976
DYLAN BAKER has a new series, “Hunters”, on Amazon.
1982
MARIO IGNACIO ARTAZA writes, “I am pleased to contact you as I have moved to New York and, as of March 16, 2020, taken position as Consul General of Chile. I will be most pleased to be able to be incorporated to the Alumni Association. I am the first ever graduate of Prep from Chile and have not been back to the grounds in Rockville for quite some years. I am a career diplomat, having represented my country in Singapore, the People’s Republic of China and Hong Kong.”
1988
TOM MCCOMAS has been cast by Academy Award winning director Damien Chazelle to star in “The Stunt Double,” a film entirely shot on an iPhone. This film caps a 25-year career
in Hollywood for McComas as a stuntman, stunt coordinator and director. He has worked on Hollywood’s biggest budget films from
his first break in 1997 on “Armageddon” where he stunt doubled Ben Affleck. Since “Armageddon,” McComas has done 17 films as Affleck’s stunt double, stunt coordinator,
or both. Most recently, McComas stunt coordinated Affleck’s portrayal of an alcoholic basketball coach in “The Way Back.”McComas continues to perform stunts for some of Hollywood’s biggest stars including Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale and many more.
E. CAMPION WALSH’S first book, “The Book of Irish Bulls: Gaffes, Jests, and Paradoxes in National Literature and Rhetoric” was recently published.
1990
BO BLAIR was featured on “CBS Evening News” in March 2020. Bo founded the cause “Feed the Fight Fund,” a 501-C3 established to feed the many doctors, nurses, and health care workers - all working tirelessly at risk to themselves during the COVID-19 pandemic. Bo is the owner of Georgetown Events.

TERRY TARANTINO and JOHN LITTLE got together in the summer of 2019 at Dizzy’s Club in New York City to celebrate Terry’s daughter and the release of her jazz quartet’s CD, “Winds of Change.”
