• To call attention to the Christian peoples, influences, contributions, sacrifices, and triumphs, in the

founding of Georgia.

• To better acquaint our readers with the depth of their Christian Heritage in general.

• To encourage thankfulness from our readers for having received this heritage on which they stand.
• To encourage imitation of perseverance and faith from the example of these people.

• To learn something of the providential workings of God in history, and how God is drawing a multitude

of peoples together from many backgrounds and cultures to serve together as one in His Kingdom.
• To act as a sample of similar stories found throughout the founding of North America.
