BULLSEYE PRAYERS
If Christ is formed in the people, it would be impossible for the devil to ever sift them like wheat. If Christ is truly formed in the people, they would never be lost to the world.
Galatians 4:19, KJV
My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Every believer requires the spiritual covering of their spiritual leaders so that they are not humiliated by the devil while they are still building up spiritual strength in their faith journey. In the light of Ephesians 4:11-15, the saints cannot come to the point of perfection without the spiritual oversight provided by their leaders. The prayers of their leaders are an important input into the process of their development into "the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”
It is really an unfortunate tragedy when leaders fail to pray for those over whom they have been given responsibility. And please remember that we are all leaders, without exception. At different levels each believer has a sphere of influence and God is counting on us to cry out to Him to preserve those souls from being lost to the world.
