Keep Them From Evil
God is angry with the wicked everyday and that suggests that prayer Wagainst the activities of the evil one will always hit the bullseye.
hoever is not careful enough to take note of the fact that Jesus equally prayed that God should keep the disciples from evil would miss out on
another key aspect of His prayer points. That this aspect of preservation and deliverance from the evil one, and his evil activities, qualified to feature in His valedictory prayers shows that none of us must exclude this point from our prayer lives.
John 17:15 NKJV
I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
Jesus knew too well that each of us would become the target of the evil one at some point or the other in our walk in faith in the world. He encountered the evil one coming through His 40 days and 40 nights fasting and praying in the wilderness.
