KEEP THEM FROM EVIL
Psalm 7:11-13 NKJV
God is a just judge, and God is angry with the wicked every day. [12] If he does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready. [13] He also prepares for Himself instruments of death; He makes His arrows into fiery shafts.
When we pray against the evil one, we are lining up with God’s interest and will, showing that we are also on His side, and are committed to seeing His will come to pass on the earth. These considerations enhance the quality of our prayers and get us prompt answers from God.
Luke 19:27 AMP
[The king ended by saying,] ‘But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them, bring them here and kill them in my presence.’”
Remember how God reacted to the wickedness of the third servant in the parable of the talents. He showed the servant no mercy for the wickedness that he perpetrated against Him. God will move against the evil one on our behalf when we do cry to Him to do so. And He expects us to do precisely that, and on a regular (daily) basis.
