He assured them that if they put these things in place in their lives then he would show up in great dimensions to bless them. He said that their light would break forth as the morning and the healing that they desired will spring forth speedily! He also said that their righteousness will go before them and His glory will be their rear guard! These are the same things we pointed to as the core motivation for seeking God’s hand of deliverance in our lives.
Please look at verse 9! God affirms that they would now assume a special status with Him in the place of prayer. He said that they would cry to Him and He would answer them! Hallelujah!
The blessing to be secured from God with the right approach is really a basket. He said that their light would dawn in darkness and their darkness will be as the noonday! In addition, he promised to guide them continually, to satisfy their soul in drought and to strengthen their bones. They would also be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
It has been my joy to relay these blessings again despite them being in the outlined scriptures because they are so profound and desirable. They speak about a God who is so loving and committed to enforcing justice for all.
