helper by creating the woman out of His ribs. That way the woman shared Adam’s nature and could be controlled and nurtured into whoever he desired her to be. God’s desire was to make a perfect helper for her.
The wife provided to a husband is in like manner, meant to be a helper for the husband. She is to support the husband to obey the commandments of God. She is meant to be perfect for him. In this case, however, the man is meant to take upon himself the responsibility of nurturing the woman through love to become that perfect helper, one who would not take him away from God. This was one thing that Adam failed to do to Eve, after she was handed over to him. Adam did not do his homework on her well and left her exposed to the cunning serpent. Unfortunately, he suffered the consequence of his negligence. If a husband does not do his assignment of showing love to his wife well, she may become a liability or danger to his walk with God and his quest to fulfill destiny.
God has given husbands another opportunity to get the right help they need. He empowered them with love to make the perfect help of their wives.
