The Man In Love
the Spirit. Galatians 5:25 says that “if we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” It is walking in the Spirit that activates the transfer of the fruit attributes of God into our spirits and destroys the fleshly passions and desires that came with us into Christ. It is the process that infuses us with Christ’s love nature. That nature does not automatically manifest because the Spirit is in us. Some have received the Holy Spirit but have not allowed Him opportunity for expression, and they have lived as people without the Spirit.
We must never forget that Jesus also had to receive the Holy Spirit before He stepped into His ministry expressing the love of God to man. The fact that He resorted to the Father to ask Him for the Holy Spirit privilege to be extended to us coupled with His many references to the Holy Spirit, highlighting what He does, points to the fact He was very conscious of His walk in the Spirit during His ministry. In fact, at the point that He was accused of casting our demons because He was one of them, He pointed the ignorant and mischievous people to His source of power against the demons. In Matthew 12:28, He said,
