all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.
1 Timothy 2:1-4
When last did you pray for your wife specifically? Husbands whose love will bring about sanctified wives must be deliberate about praying, interceding and thanking God for them on a regular basis. We must pray that God will help them to live a life marked by godliness and dignity so that they and their family can live peaceful and quiet lives.
4. ENCOURAGE HER TO EXERCISE HERSELF TO GODLINESS. Godliness, or better still, the life of sanctification, is not just in word but also in deed. Following the word of God and prayer, we all must exercise ourselves in that walk. Perfection comes through practice, which is the exercise therein. As we make conscious effort to walk in that sanctification, we also learn by doing. 1 Timothy 4:7-9 makes this important point:
