The Man In Love
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:31-32
Jesus gave His disciples the word of truth. He was committed to the propagation of the word. In the scripture above, he pointed out the vital need for us all to abide in His word, to know the truth, and to be truly free! He knew the importance of the word of God for making us to live a victorious life that fulfills the calling of God upon our lives and empowers us to get to the kingdom of God. Through the word He gave us power (Romans 1:16; 1 Thessalonians 1:5). The word plays an important role in the accomplishment of sanctification, cleansing, nourishment and cherishing of our wives. He knew that we cannot do without it.
3. Christ Gave Us The Holy Spirit
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
John 14:16-18
