shows. In Matthew 24:3-28, He again provided even greater detail about what was going to happen to Him, and what would eventually happen to us all as well. This is how husbands must do to their wives. Our wives are not suppose to hear about issues of great importance that we knew long ago just at the time they are happening or after they have taken place. Love toward them requires that we take them into confidence and prepare them well for eventualities that may lie ahead. We should endeavor to make them aware of what is going on with us all the time, whether they are pleasant or otherwise. They deserve to be carried along.
8. Christ Protected His Own
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Jesus made provision for the protection of His disciples and all of us who believe in Him. The disciples never had cause to worry about their safety while they were around Jesus. They
