The lesson was surely not lost on him in his subsequent conduct, both while Christ was still with them and after He had gone to heaven. It is important therefore, for husbands to allow their wives to make their own mistakes in the journey of life and they show them love. Such mistakes are not to be criticized unduly but with the sole intention of ensuring that they improve in the quality of their walk with God. Husbands are not to be so shielded that they can hardly do anything for themselves, especially handle spiritual matters adequately. The learning experience through practical exposure must be encouraged.
