The Man In Love
The head holds the whole body together with its joints and ligaments, and nourishes it in order to bring about growth. The importance of the head in this regard is appreciated from the illustration of scripture in Colossians 2:19. Without the head, the whole body cannot stay together as it should and nourishment and growth will not take place. We see here again that it is the responsibility of the head (husband) to nourish his wife unto growth.
And not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.

It is however, the responsibility of the body to hold fast to the head according to Colossians 2:19. If wives don’t hold fast to their husbands, they lend themselves to confusion and they risk going astray according to Colossians 2:18,
Don’t let anyone condemn you by insisting on pious self- denial or the worship of angels, saying they have had visions about these things. Their sinful minds have made them proud,
