The Man In Love
instrument of love applied by the husband to his wife is what produces excellence in his wife. It is also the secret behind the glorious wife that the husband presents to himself, one who is holy and without fault. It is the secret that husbands deploy to make manifest the glory of God upon their own bodies, being their wives. Husbands must work to produce excellent wives and crown their own heads as a result.
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Exalt her, and she will promote you; she will bring you honor, when you embrace her. She will place on your head an ornament of grace; a crown of glory she will deliver to you.”
Proverbs 4:7-9
In Proverbs 4:7-9 the bible tells of how wisdom and understanding are the keys to the receipt of any crown of glory upon the head of any child of God. Wisdom will place upon the ‘head’ an ornament of grace. The wisdom required for the husband as ‘head’ of the wife, to be crowned with grace and glory is His commitment to walk in love toward the wife as Christ walked in love toward His church.
