whole body, their wives and themselves with light! If their eye is not good, then they will fill their whole body with darkness. Wives will be proud always to showcase of show off their husbands when they truly produce light in them. As the scripture says, no one light a lamp and hides it. Rather, everyone that has a lamp puts it in a place where it can shine and all the people can appreciate it. Wives take pleasure to showcase your husbands, through whose ‘eyes’ you body has been filled with light.
The interactions between the head and the body provide very deep insights that cannot be fully explored in this chapter. It is however, hoped that the discussion hear will enable us better appreciate the head and body illustration used to describe the relationship between the husband and his wife, and from that both parties will appreciate their position better and submit themselves to full compliance with the respective command of God, now based on greater spiritual understanding.
