Wives Submit To Your Husbands
The scriptures command wives to submit to their husbands, as though they are submitting to the Lord. Put differently, wives are commanded to submit to their husbands in exactly the same way as they submit to Jesus. The word of God equates the way women submit to Jesus as their Saviour and Lord to the way they, as wives, must submit to their own husbands.
The first thing to note hear is that wives are commanded to submit to their husbands. The word of God to them is a command that He expects them to obey. The instruction is not an advice and as such the opinion of the woman is irrelevant. The only thing that entitles a man to enjoy mandatory submission from his wife in accordance with the word of God is the he is her legitimate husband. No other thing conditions the requirement for the wife to submit to her husband. It is not how good he looks, not how rich he is, not how much he loves her, not how responsible he is and certainly not whether or not he is involve with a strange woman.
