noticed that they had disappointed Jesus in that they could not cast out a demon from a child brought to them, they sought him in their privacy to know what really was the problem. That private enquiry provided them the opportunity to get to the root of the problem and to make amends. After that incident, we have no other report that the same situation presented itself that could not be handled by the disciples. It would appear that they made the best use of the understanding that Jesus let them into and avoided disappointments with their ‘husband’ thereafter.
This is how wives should prayerfully seek audience with their husbands to discuss any issues of discomfort in their relationship. This enables the husbands to be aware that there are issues in their marriage and it also provides an opportunity to understand the concerns of the wife. In many situations, wives believe in error that husbands know that there are problems in their relationship and that they in fact knew exactly what the problem is. It may well be that husbands do not even share the same conviction with the wife and some may argue that they dint know there were problems. When opportunities are sought to lay
