The Man In Love
following scriptures expose us to these dimensions of the love relationship between Him and His Father:
I and My Father are one. ....... If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.
John 10:30, 37-38
Jesus enjoyed the privilege of sharing the same life with the Father. The Father gave Him life. He was empowered to reflect the love attribute of the Father. He could not but reflect that love of His Father having been given that privilege to have the same life in Himself. That was why He said that whoever saw Him had seen His Father as well. The life of God expressed the love attribute of the Father in Him and it was impossible not to see the Father virtually live through Him.
Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.
John 14:9-11
