The Man In Love
as a lamb for the slaughter. Is it any wonder then that His Father loved Him? By laying His life down, He was able to gain it again.
With this kind of commitment to His Father, how will the Father not give all things into His hands as we read in John 3:35?
The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.
John 3:35
The Father subjected everything on earth to Him (John 13:3). The Father does not judge but He gave Jesus the authority to execute judgment. However, even at that, Jesus judged according to what He heard from the Father. This was the guarantee that His judgment is righteous. The will of His Father was paramount in His life.
For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. ....... I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.
John 5:26-28, 30
In every respect, Jesus was one with the Father. He was in the Father and the Father was in Him. They shared the same life and Spirit. It was impossible to separate Him and the Father. The
