The Man In Love
heart of love that pants for Him. Asa king of Judah, in the face of threat of attack from another kingdom, turned to seek help from another king instead of the God, to whom he and his people had committed themselves to love. Yet this God had kept them free of wars for twenty-five years! That was why God expressed His displeasure through the message sent to him. It tells of God’s commitment to reciprocity in His live relationship with man.
Love Between The Father And The Son
Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
John 5:19-20
Love defines the relationship between all three persons of the Godhead – Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Jesus exposed us all to the depth of that love relationship that He maintained with the Father. That is meant as a model for us in our relationship with the Father established through our relationship with Him.
