they bring into their houses are those who share the doctrine of Christ and subscribe to His command to love one another. They are the ones whose Spirit will agree with those of their husbands, and will be successfully transformed by the love showed toward them.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Revelation 22:14-15
The men who subscribe to and do the commandments of God are called blessed. However, those who do not subscribe to the love doctrine of Christ and do contrary to His commandments are cursed. They are those referred to as “without” in the above scripture. Husbands must not bring accursed women into their houses as wives if they are not to partake of her sins and the curse she carries. The risk associated with this is reflected in Joshua 7:12-13,15 where ‘the accursed thing’ was brought into the camp of the children of Israel by Achan, and damnation was brought upon them as a result.
