"Don't Be Afraid" is about overcoming the anxiety you feel when it
comes to chasing your dreams a personal touch into the track. The
song is produced by FlowBlow. I must admit that I am getting into the
jams of Asian musicians. Listening to this I will continue to discover
more talents to bring to my TNE readers.
I am going to give this song a 7 because I am not in tune on what are
the jams of this genre may be in later issues he may provide us with a
banger. I know this will not be in my rotation.

Kim Young -geun makes his debut. He became nationally known
for audition programs, which is a showcase which is a debut
platform for solo singers, this show has evolved into platforms for
the birth of new K-pop bands. Emerging from this tough
competitive field is Kim Young-geun, winner of the "Superstar K
2016" with his debut mini-album. Kim released the album "Under
Wall Road."
The 21-year-old Kim sings four songs on this LP " Under Wall
Road," "Sorrow You Do Not Know," "Where Are You Now," and
"Stare." The recording took more than a year, slightly past his 21st
birthday. What a way to celebrate becoming adult if I say so
myself. Kim, who has earned the moniker, "Mt. Jiri Soul" during the audition show for his soulful voice,
which I may add he is very soulful.
Kim is famous for repeatedly applied for the popular audition program since 2011, finally clinching the
top position and the prize money of 500 million won ($460,309). Videos of him performing such songs
as Sam Smith's "Lay Me Down" in 2016 got him numerous clicks. “The 'Under Wall Road' is about
before and after winning the 'Superstar K 2016,' how he used to sing on the road near his home, when
he did not even know whether He was singing the right way or wrong way. Evidently, his singing paid
off. It is the English title "Where Are You Now" that promises a broader range of music and style Kim
may show for his future songs. I am going to give this album a 5 due to the fact he is just starting out
as an artist, and I know with the right collaborations he will get better with time.
