Miguel the Grammy award-winning
singer, songwriter, and activist has given
us his highly anticipated new LP War, and
Leisure and it was indeed worth the wait.
This LP boasts notable features by other
R&B and hip-hop artists, and it continues
to sound off Miguel’s activism. “But while
it appeals to the sexy, vibrant side of
Miguel’s music, it lacks substance
compared to the rest of the album. War
and Leisure show Miguel’s growth as a
singer and songwriter, in addition to commenting on timely political events that are facing
society today. The songs are catchy and fit multiple moods that many fans may be feeling
current. The album as a whole has a wide array of tracks that appeal to any listener. Which I
all honesty this album is one to keep in rotation for many days to come. I am giving this
album a 9 because I know he has more albums to come to make it a 10 Best of All Time.

El Gato: The Human Glacier finds Gucci
Mane at his best as he redefines his style.
That only him could strut the runaway
with at a New York Fashion Week. In the
past he’s been either really street or damn
near too comical as he ran through ad-lib
after ad-lib.
Now, my man Gucci has found his roar
that we all can hear without allowing one
section of his arsenal to overshadow the other. That could partially be because this one was
helmed by one singular producer who saw the process through from beginning to end.
