UNAM PRESS
            UNAM Press is the publishing unit of the University of Namibia, housed in the
            Centre for Research and Publications (CRP), see www.unam.edu.na/unam-
            research. UNAM Press plays a vital role in:

            •   Disseminating the results of the university’s research across a broad
                spectrum of real-world problems, in order to communicate and share this
                research with others and so contribute to nation-building.
            •   Serving as a repository for the preservation, development and articulation
                of national values and culture, through the promotion of Namibian
                history, art and languages.
            •   Engaging with society in the creation and dissemination of knowledge
            •   Becoming a treasure house of knowledge at the service of national
                development.


            University Library
            The University Library offers a range of technologically enhanced services,
            complementing the open shelf, reference, special, and archival collections.
            Different membership categories extend privileges to students, staff, other
            institutions and members of the public. Extension services include branch
            libraries at the Oshakati, Ogongo and Neudamm campuses and core
            collections at Regional Centres. These all benefit from connectivity. The
            centre houses the Human Rights & Documentation Section.  The HRDS
            is a section of excellence in law and human rights related matters, and
            contributes to global efforts to promote the rule of law, good governance,
            social justice, environmental protection and the eradication of poverty.

            Confucius Institute

            The Confucius Institute at UNAM offers a variety of short courses in Mandarin
            (Chinese). The courses run from beginner to advance level for students and
            any member of the public interested in learning about Chinese culture.
            Special and customised courses are also available for banks and private
            organisations with unique needs. https://ci.unam.na/
