He sees with his inner eye, kilometre-long queues of people and vehicles waiting

to get back to work or cross borders. That’s not going to work.
The government have promised a solution by 6 AM tomorrow. Public transport

is completely up-and-running by then and the highway roadblocks will be lifted

so the traffic can flow through as normal. He's looking at his new ROLEX watch.
In principle, he never uses the car or the watch on his phone. He loves his

watches and he has many in his collection.

Tom stares at his newly acquired Rolex. He hasn’t worn it to work yet, with the
Tag Heuer being the work-watch. The Rolex watch has cost over 150,000 kr.; he

wears it as a symbol of all his hard work. The steadily increasing high salary,
which only he, Bjørn and Olina has in the agency, is the means that makes pur-

                   chases like this possible.

As he’s looking at his timepiece, he realizes he doesn’t have much time, and for a
rare occasion he is totally in line with the rest of the organization, the Danish po-

lice and state – time is fleeting. He is pondering on he and Bjørn are going to

promise to the entire nation, that the threat is no longer there. It should very
well correspond with the reality of the situation. It must be as set in stone, that

the agency guarantees security. This means that before 3 AM tonight night, they
give strong evidence, which indicates that the attacks are directly targeted at the

agency and the Danish police - not civilians.

For the last two days, the news reports from where the attacks have taken place
have been running constantly on all TV channels both in Denmark and abroad.

Reports from the crime scenes, a slew of experts, witnesses, journalists, politi-

cians and of course various leaders from both the police and the military have
spoken out, but still without saying anything concrete.

Earlier in the day, there had been violent clashes in Nørrebro, a small area of Co-

penhagen, when a petty right-wing radical, who has been making anti-Muslim
comments for the past few years, decided to throw a protest. He chose today to

carry out an illegal demonstration. This led to violent clashes between outraged

citizens and the district's ethnic minority. The politician believed that the coun-
try was exposed to a Muslim conspiracy that was now attacking the country from

within. The police had to use teargas, sticks, as well as firing several warning
shots to disperse the protesters and the angry mob. They made a lot of arrests.
