Management Plan 1: In order to reduce water pollution within the Pacific Ocean, sea bins
should be installed and monitored to ensure these contamination levels decrease.

Management Plan 2: More advertising and awareness should be enforced for organisations
such as the WWF to increase understanding and knowledge of issues such as overfishing. If
this is done, individuals will be inclined to partake in petitions, fundraising and educating
others to increase the wellbeing of the ecosystem.

Management Plan 3: Sponsor and endangered or vulnerable species such as the Great
White Shark or Blue Whale in order to raise funds for research and management plans to
ensure linkages within the ecosystem’s food chains are maintained.

Management Plan 4: Reduce your use of plastic products such as supermarket bags to
ensure that your plastics do not end up in the ocean and contaminate or destruct animals
within the ecosystem. By limiting your impact you will not only benefit the Pacific Ocean but
also numerous other ecosystems across the globe.
