                              Varela-Guevara, Dulce

                              BSHE-63
“Act as if everything depended on you, trust as if everything depended
on God” – Dulce abides by this teaching of St. Ignatius of Loyola. She is
grateful for her family, her fellow CHSNAF alumnae and friends; and
for the opportunities to manifest the spirit of stewardship in
organizations such as Feed the Hungry.

                              Young-Gomez, Ellen

                              HS-68
Ellen’s focus has been the alleviation of child abuse and neglect through
court mediation process. Her driving force in life has been her father’s
constant admonition to always ask “what have I accomplished for the
day?” To Ellen, this is all about making a difference, however small, in
                              this world everyday.

                              Zagala-Yamat, Zita

                              HS-67, BSC-71
Zita’s reflection on life is that life is a race to be a successful person.
However, in the end, nothing really matters. What fulfills and makes
Zita happy as a retiree is reaching out wholeheartedly to the less
fortunate and teaching catechism without expecting anything in return.

                              Zalvidea-Araullo, Vivian
