A recent survey by DSM (2017) highlighted that the top health concern for adults is weight. It reveals a shift in focus by consumers from weight loss to weight management. Consumers are increasingly aware of the importance of good nutrition. They are looking for healthier options and reverting to natural, unprocessed whole foods.
This seminar stream will examine how the food and drink industry is responding to new attitudes towards weight management and review the latest innovative weight management strategies. Leading experts will also explore the latest R&D around satiety and novel functional ingredients to aid weight management.
