God My Refuge

The ideas of love, faithfulness, and devotion
To the Lord God and to His amazing creation Continue to redefine the calling of a missionary For the mission of Christ in every generation.
In times of testing, suffering, and sorrow
At points of loss through the path so narrow The Spirit of God keeps us empowered
With an abundance of grace always to borrow.
Surrounded with difficulties and hopelessness Tired of falsehood, jealousy, and recklessness
The Cross of Christ gives comfort and hope Through the Living Word, God’s eternal Promises.
Come what may, worry and confuse Standing firm, I’ll overcome and refute
I will never give up but forever keep up Grateful and joyful with God my refuge.
