                                                                 The scope of this project includes design

                                                                 services for the core and shell for four
                                                                 warehouse buildings on a site in Abingdon,
                                                                 MD, directly adjacent to I-95. Portions of the

                                                                 site are directly visible from the highway,
                                                                 making it so a large number of people will see
                                                                 the site daily – as such a high level of design
                                                                 was implemented at the areas of the buildings
                                                                 most visible from I-95.



                                                                 Warehouses will be constructed with site cast
                                                                 tilt-up  concrete  panels. There will  be two

                                                                 matching entry features designed into the
                                                                 façade of each building at the corners. There
                                                                 will also be non-entry corner features on
                                                                 building #1 in order to attract the eye from
                                                                 I-95. There will be docks on both long sides

                                                                 of the building on buildings 1 and 2, with
                                                                 buildings 3A and 3B having docks only along
                                                                 a single side.



                                                                 The buildings will also use patterns and score
                                                                 lines to break up the long faces of the building,
                                                                 in  order  to  reduce  the  perceived  scale of the
                                                                 building.
