Marriott Courtyard West Chester Hotel

Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania

Design Statement: Bernardon provided design services for
an eight-story, 95,500 SF mixed-use development whose
main tenant was proposed to be Marriott Courtyard. The
hotel was designed to blend into the historic fabric of
downtown West Chester. Each and every detail on the
exterior of the building was created utilizing aspects of
other building details throughout town. Extra efforts were
made to hide modern HVAC components behind metal
grates and custom designed window framing, to minimize
the visual impact of these elements on the historical Walnut Street Looking South
context. There are 121 total guest rooms, which include
